After three plane rides, lunch in Paris, customs in Togo, and one crazy but exciting ride to the ship, I am safely settled in Lome, Togo, Africa, aboard the Africa Mercy-FINALLY!
Everyone aboard the ship is very warm and welcoming, and tomorrow I begin my duties as cook. Thanks everyone so much for all the prayers. I'm excited about what all God will show me!

Africa Countdown: 10 Days
In ten days I will be leaving for Togo, Africa, to serve on Mercy Ships.
Mercy Ships is a worldwide organization that offers free healthcare to the poor and needy. I will be serving as a volunteer cook while living on the ship, Africa Mercy.
